The HTL at Techtextil 2024

The textile research area is presenting itself at Techtextil 2024.
At the leading international trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens, Techtextil from April 23 to 26, 2024, the Textile research area will present its entire spectrum of research and development services along the textile value chain.
In the textile research area, the Fraunhofer Institutes have joined forces to combine individual competencies from the textile machine and interfaces to fiber, textile structures and preforms, functionalization, smart textiles, process and product simulation, sustainability, life cycle assessment and recycling to represent the entire textile chain up to the fiber composite component. Complex problems can thus be solved together synergistically and efficiently. The textile research area provides companies and partners with an interdisciplinary team to generate optimal, application-oriented, product-specific developments available.
As part of the textile research area, Fraunhofer ISC Center HTL / AWZ TFK (application center for textile fiber ceramics) presents its expertise in the area of ​​preform and textile technology for ceramic fiber composites CMC and also includes the latest developments in the field of ceramic reinforcing fibers from the EU joint project InVECOF.
