  • Take the Autobahn A9 (going to Berlin or Nürnberg)
  • Take the exit 42 "Bayreuth Süd" ('Ausfahrt 42')
  • After the exit, turn left onto the Bundesstraße B2 / B85
  • Follow the sign "Neue Materialien"
  • Turn left onto "Am Briefzentrum" after the mail centre
  • Turn left onto "Gottlieb-Keim-Str."
  • Follow until the end of the street

 

By train

  • Destination: Bayreuth train station
  • Take a taxi if you plan to travel to the HTL as fast as possible
  • Should choose to take the bus:
    • Take line 310 or line 311 (leaves hourly) from the bus station "ZOH"
    • Exit at the bus station "Meyernreuth"
    • Cross the street and follow the path uphill
    • Turn left onto Gottlieb-Keim-Str. 62

 

By plane

  • Destination: Airport Nuremberg (NUE)
  • Take the Subway line U2 (Going to Röthenbach)
  • Exit at the subway station "Hbf Nürnberg"
  • Follow the instructions for travel by train

The following charging infrastructure is available on the premises of the Fraunhofer ISC for guests of the institute 

Location Gottlieb-Keim-Str. 66, 95448 Bayreuth (50 m next to the main building)

  • 2 x AC charging points type 2 with max. 22 kW charging power each

The electricity supplier at the charging points is the Electromobility Partner (EMP) Charge IT Mobility GmbH, which is also responsible for billing. A corresponding charging card from the provider or the ChargeIT Mobilty app is required. Please follow the corresponding instructions for use at the charging points. By using the charging infrastructure, you declare your agreement with the General Terms and Conditions of Use for the Charging Infrastructure of the Fraunhofer Gesellschaft zur Förderung der angewandten Forschung e.V.

If the charging points mentioned are occupied or blocked for operational reasons, public charging points are available in the city or at the University of Bayreuth.

 

Funding Note

The charging infrastructure in the joint project "LamA - Charging at the Workplace" was set up as part of the "Clean Air 2017 - 2020" immediate action program by the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and with funding from the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK).
