23rd Symposium on Composites and Composite Materials

Composite materials and material composites make a decisive contribution to the development of new products. Consistent research expands the potential use of these material systems and thus constantly opens up new future-oriented and sustainable industrial fields of application on a national as well as international level. Against this background, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Materialkunde e.V. (German Society for Materials Science) is organising the following event (DGM) is organising the 23rd Symposium on Composites from 20-22 July 2022. The symposium is organised as a hybrid event in Leoben (Austria) and online.

The symposium will deal with a total of twelve main topics. Under the main topic "Ceramic Matrix Composites (CMC)", the HTL is represented with three lectures:

Characterisation of Unidirectional Minicomposites as an Efficient Tool for SiC/SiC-CMC Development

Konschak, A. (V); Hartbauer, M.; Schmidt, J.; Vogt, J.

Low-Cost Ceramic Matrix Composites for Applications at Aluminum melting Processes

Vierhaus, P. (V); Rüdinger, A.

Low-Cost Manufacturing of Fiber Reinforced Ceramic Matrix Composites for Intermediate Temperatures

Schmidt, J. (V); Eckardt, C.; Rüdinger, A.; Vierhaus, P.
